    Minimum Prerequisites for Install

I have Outlook PIA, dotNet v 2.0 and now it's asking for Team Explorer (?)  If I have Team Explorer installed, then why would I use TeamLook? I was hoping to have non-developers/executives use the Outlook interface instead of the whole Team client.

    Thoughts?

    Re: Minimum Prerequisites for Install

Your scenario is very common and legitimate.  Although Team Explorer is installed, these folks would not have to use the Team Explorer interface which is hosted inside Visual Studio.  Instead they can get the benefit of the Team Communications scenarios enabled by TeamLook while interfacing with the Team Foundation Server from within Microsoft Outlook.  The Team Explorer install contains assemblies which provides TFS Extensibility scenarios - this is how Microsoft designed it.  We would love to be able to include these dependencies in our installer, but we do not have redistribution rights for Microsoft binaries.

Thanks for your interest in TeamLook and please let us know if you have any other questions.  We love hearing from customers!
