I apologize for the delay in responding.
The short answer: This is now fixed. If you try to send yourself the password again, it will work.
The long answer: We had recently moved our servers to a higher capacity location and the configuration for the forums did not get correctly reset to the new locations. Therefore, all the email alerts, password reset notifications, and all other email related functionality was not correctly working. I hadn't seen any emails for the forums for a while and upon investigating why I couldn't login (I had also forgotten my password), we discovered it was an SMTP configuration problem. The issues have been resolved and we should now be much quicker about responding to posts as I will get all the alerts when new posts are made.
