I'm trying to create a requirements template which so far worked pretty well.

There is only one thing I didn't manage to do: to place the work item id and/or work item title in the header or footer of my document template. As soon as I drop it in the footer area it disapears immediately and is inserted somewhere in the body of the document instead.

Thanks for submitting this issue.  I've filed this as a bug in our database. I agree with you, we should be able to place a work item field in header and footer.  Apologies for the inconvenience this may be causing.
