Event Subscriptions should be available (on the most recent build) from the TeamLook menu in Outlook.  You can setup an event subscription to email you on a number of different TFS events.  The list of events are listed in a 'Type' dropdown in the 'Event Subscriptions' dialog.  If you have the most recent build (1.6.11.125 or 1.6.12.126) then this should be in your trial as well.  If you don't have either of those builds, please visit our web site and grab the most recent bits.
