Outlook 2007 support and no Documents folder?

Hey guys - just a couple of questions

    1.  What are the plans for Outlook 2007 support - has there been any testing done - I realize we are only at Beta 2 for Outlook 2007 and that it has it share of issues - do you expect Teamlook to just plug and play?

    2.  I noticed no Documents folder in Teamlook - that surprised me because for the user community that I envision for Teamlook I would think that document access would be very important - are there plans to add this integration?

    Thanks,

    Bryan

Re: Outlook 2007 support and no Documents folder?

    Bryan,

Great questions.  We are currently in the process of creating a version of TeamLook for Outlook 2007.  Although we haven't announced a release date, I can say it's less than 12 weeks and more than 4 weeks away.  Fortunately, there is some level of direct porting but Outlook 2007 does introduce new concepts.  In the cases where those new concepts break our code, we're redesigning it to work in the environment.  Outlook 2007 has some new capabalities which will allow us to enable new scenarios.  Most of those scenarios will come in later releases of TeamLook (once Office 2007 is released).  Once we release support for Outlook 2007, we will definitely support all the scenarios supported in Outlook 2003 plus a little more.

Regarding the Documents folder, we do enable access to the project portal (by clicking on the project folder in TeamLook) which has a view of the document library.  There are definitely some interesting scenarios related to documents and being inside Outlook (beyond interacting with the project portal).  Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Juan
