    Annoying security prompt

    Hi

    Getting an annoying security prompt from Outlook each time I open a mail item. Tried to use the x on the prompt window and thereby triggered an error:

    Message: Operation aborted (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004004 (E_ABORT))

    Source:

    StackTrace:    at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.InspectorClass.get_WordEditor()
       at TeamlookPro.TLInspectorWrapper.c()

    Hope this is enough to find a solution/fix to this as it is prohibiting for us to start using TeamLook on a larger scale as long as this behaviour is prevailing.

    Thanks and regards

    Hello Martin,

    Which version of TeamLook are you running? (You can open the 'TeamLook menu -> About TeamLook' to find the version number.)

    Recently, we released a new build, v1.6, which should fix this issue.  Also in this new version, there are many new features which you may find extremely useful.

    Please let us know if this does not fix your problem!

    Cheers,
    ~Joe

    Hi again Joe

    V1..6 crashes on Outlook startup. Have reported this as requested to teamlook@personifydesign.com.

    Re: Annoying security prompt

    Martin,

    You are correct, we have yet to enable the update notification inside previous versions of TeamLook.  When we release a new build, we usually give a couple weeks before we turn on the auto update notification.

    Cheers,
    ~Joe

    Re: Annoying security prompt

    Martin,

    We received your error report and are following up with you offline.  It appears to be a problem with your security credentials on the folder in which we write data.  Look for our email for more information so we can figure out what exactly is going wrong.

    Cheers,
    ~Joe
