Attenex® asked Personify Design to create a content management system to replace their classic ASP web site. Some of their requirements included:

• Site search
• Ability to allow users to register and send that data to Eloqua and Salesforce.com
• User and SEO friendly URLs
• Simple interface for non-technical people to provide content to the site

Personify Design recommended DotNetNuke v4.7.0 to provide the functionality needed. A module was developed to provide web form registration integration with Eloqua and Salesforce.com. Another was created that can collect form data created with a WYSIWYG editor and email it to an admin, such as those created for a newsletter or contact us form, thereby allowing future edits to the form without code changes. In addition an HTTP module was added to provide friendly URL remapping of DNN links.

Microsoft® XNA™ is composed of industry-leading software, services, resources, and communities focused on enabling game developers to be successful on Microsoft gaming platforms. Their team asked Personify Design to create a new site to allow better collaboration among their gaming community. Requirements included integration with Live ID (formerly Passport), integration with Xbox “gamertags”, and forums and blogs.

Personify modified Community Server 2.1 to use Live ID 4.5 as the authentication mechanism for the user accounts on the site. Once authenticated the user’s gamertag that is associated with a Live ID would be retrieved via web services and their gamertag attributes would be retrieved from an Xbox.com web service. These modifications allow for a personalized look and feel for each user visiting the site. Check it out at http://creators.xna.com.
